What a great place. Came her on Friday for live music and Irish dancing. Came back again on Monday for breakfast. Wasn’t let down either day. On Friday, this place was a part of our pub crawl. Watching the cute ladies dancing was a lot of fun. Had a couple drinks and went to the next bar. The food on Monday was great. Irish breakfast with 2 extra eggs and the French toast. This bar doesn’t have table service so everything is ordered at the bar.
By far the best carvery In Dublin, at 13.25 euros for a meal. It's is absolutely gorgeous, freshly prepared and no use of artificial ingredients. Also a very nice portion. The ambience takes you back to the rich history surrounding the area and there are different sections within the pub. Overall a wonderful pub.
Great place, we went for both the Irish breakfast and the dinner. Irish breakfast was pretty substantial and filling for the price, with the option to add on. Dinner I a quick self service affair over at the carvery. Most importantly alcohol is reasonably priced. Stay for the live music!
Good dining experience. Nice environment. Food was good. The goat cheese smell was exceptionally strong so that was a turn off. But the live music and dance was really nice.
Busy pub at the weekends, with a wide menu for lunch. You can get your drink from the bar and pop over to the “buffet” to get lunch or order something different from the menu, which will obviously take longer. We had the Irish Stew and the Fish Pie, and both were really good! I would definitely recommend it for tourists, as service is quick, location is perfect, and there are local dishes.
