  • Love this place. Yes it is busy at the bar, but if you treat the bartenders as people, your drink will be made quickly. I spent two weeks in Europe and after two weeks of my return, they still remember my drink!.

  • As an American we have a weird standard on service. Since our bartenders work for tips we are use to fast service with a smile. So service over seas can be different. But every person working at The George were exceptional. Inviting, fast, nice and efficient. The vibe was excellent and music was phenomenal. And of course the Drag talent was next level. Coming from cities like NYC, Philly and D.C I know good drag and this group has it. I am already planning my trip back to Dublin and you better believe The George is on the to do list every night. (Excuse my very poor picture taking skills.)

  • Usually have a really good night here! Place could definitely do with a revamp, got rejected once which was annoying as it was my birthday ! Apart from that most experiences have been great, always good music playing and great to have a boogie! There is a woman who monitors the toilets upstairs and is quite bossy and shouts a lot saying “single file, one person per cubicle” which I think is a little irritating as I don’t go to bars to be shouted at! Had one of the best nights ever here with my friend on after my graduation 👨‍🎓 used to go here nearly every weekend! Feel very welcome in this bar as a gay

  • Comes in two parts, the main section which is a nightclub and smaller bar to the side. The club very busy at weekends and attracts a mixed gay straight young crowd. Usually a great atmosphere and Sunday night bingo is the best night. Club hasn't really changed in 20 odd years is a bit tired looking. As its busy it can take a while to get served. The bar can be busy at weekends, attracts an older crowd, nicely refurbished and it's friendly and easy to talk to people there.

  • Best gay club in Dublin. They offer a two bar option, one is the home of their drag performers, top DJs and where you can dance. In the night club side there are two floors as well as an outside smoking area. The other bar is smaller, but is historic as it is the original gay bar in Dublin. They play 80s and 90s music and yet you can still carry on a conversation here. The smaller bar is for anyone to enjoy, however, you will find a more friendly and mature crowd inside.
