Magazine Fort is a bastion magazine and fort. The fort was built in 1735 and it was occupied by Armed forces of British till 1922. From 2006, the fort is open for public in some limited guided tours. The main body of the fort covers around 2-acre area which is surrounded by a dry moat. Each corner of Magazine Fort is defended by a demi-bastion and approx 1.5-meter thick wall.
