  • I'm staying 3 days in Dublin is our first time visiting what places are good to visit?

    Answer Report Abuse
    • You can spend the 1st day in Dublin visiting its famous tourist attractions including the Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, City Hall, and Jameson Distillery. Stop by St Stephen's Green for some time and take a stroll in Temple Bar area to soak in the nightlife of Dublin. Places like St. Patrick’s Cathedral,  Glasnevin Cemetery, Trinity College campus, and Guinness Storehouse can be visited on the 2nd day.

There are several other attractions like the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham Gaol, and Phoenix Park that you can visit on the 3rd day, but if you can manage, I would strongly recommend taking this most popular Cliffs of Moher day-trip from Dublin to make the best of your vacation.

I would also suggest taking a 48-hour ticket for this City Sightseeing Dublin Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour as it is the most convenient way to get around all the top attractions without much hassle.

Airfare and accommodation costs are lower and outdoor activities can also be enjoyed during this time. However, the weather here changes very frequently and various attractions can close due to unfavorable weather conditions.

  • Find that the hotel my son booked for us does not have parking. Where to park a rental car close by the Dublin City Aloft hotel?? thanks

    Answer Report Abuse
    • I think some pay and park spots are available near Teeling Whiskey Distillery which is hardly a couple of minutes away from Aloft Dublin City. But it would be better to talk to the hotel staff directly about the available parking nearby.
