  • Was here with a friend to have dinner with and we were absolutely stunned! Service was real nice and authentic, food was fantastic (great steaks, great everything) and the dessert was just superb. My recommendation: do not order to many sides! Rather try one of their tasty desserts.

  • Great pint. Good craic. Lovely atmosphere. Very good Dublin pub

  • New beer garden and new section inside are fab, quite the contrast to the front traditional pub which is nice too! New toilets are quirky too! Does table service outside, serves toasties but can run out on busy days. Glasses aren't always spotless...

  • Genuine old Dublin pub with great beer garden. Very popular with locals and tourists alike

  • One of Dublin's best pubs not sure of the recent renovations. The new toilets and yard are a good expansion of the very quaint and authentic pub. I do miss the smelly old gents though. They always reminded me of the loss of Murphy's ashes into the trough at the end of Samuel Beckett book of the same name. A grand place to dispose of your best friends remains....by accident of course
