As the name suggests, the Rector’s Palace is the place that was once served by Rectors of the Republic of Ragusa between the 14th century and 1808. A striking structure, with Gothic motifs to it, this Dubrovnik attraction is equally balance with elements of the Renaissance and Baroque styles. Destroyed by fire in the 14th century, it was renovated later, to what it is right now. The building also holds an exhibition on its first floor. Interesting exteriors along with a significant history to the city’s administration, this city attraction is a must-see.
