  • An amazing collection of Tiffany stained glass await you at St. Luke's. One of the largest collection of Louis Tiffany's work. A variety of windows and lamps decorate the sanctuary. Guided tours are available or walk in and someone will show you around or watch the video that covers the history of the church and windows. Entry is free of charge, visitors are encouraged to contribute to the free will offering. Every year the congregation puts on an amazing Mardi gras service, with decorations and a jazz band it is a unique service. After which there is Cajun meal served in the fellowship hall. Baked chicken, gumbo, red beans and rice, collard greens, corn bread and pineapple upside down cake.

  • They accept everyone just like a church should. I am not a member but as I walked by the people are very nice and pleasant. I found myself feeding some of the cars meters by their church. Maybe some day I'll become a member.

  • You must stop here. This church has the fifth largest collection of Tiffany glass windows in the United States. Time your visit for when the church office is open. This is not a tourist stop with admission cost. They freely welcome you. Be sure to watch the short video and then enjoy viewing the beautiful glass. Donations are welcome but no one will know or care if you cannot afford to contribute. They want to share. The church is also beautiful. It has a wood barrel vault ceiling which is very different than the basilica I grew up in.

  • One of the most beautiful old churches in Dubuque. The congregation, like most, has dwindled to numbers insufficient to fully maintain this beautiful, huge building. The venue is home to a musical dinner theater, that remains difficult to properly light, but the ageless beauty of this cathedral sized church remains, a wonderful to behold

  • This is one of the prettiest churches I have ever seen. The stained glass windows are phenomenal and can be seen during the week. The raise platform and woodwork are special. This congregation has a heart for the community and many programs that serve. I enjoyed my visit here.
