About The Downtown Duluth Inn, Duluth

The Downtown of Duluth, Minnesota, United States; is situated between Mesaba Avenue (Highway 194) and 4th Avenue East; and located on Michigan, Superior, First, Second, and Third Streets. The downtown area is easily accessible from Interstate Highway 35. As in most cities, the downtown area is home to a number of the city's cultural and social attractions, as well as government offices and business centers. Duluth's main library is located in downtown, as is the city's foremost museum, the courthouse, city hall, several local restaurants and bars with live music venues, and many of the larger business offices. Stores and places to eat and drink tend to be locally or regionally owned and operated, with most chain and franchise establishments having located (or re-located) themselves in the "Miller Hill area" around the U.S. Highway 53 corridor. Most of the downtown is within walking distance of the touristy Canal Park district. A large portion of the eastern section of downtown is oriented around Essentia Health–St. Mary's Medical Center and Miller-Dwan Medical Center.

  • Upon check in noticed the bedding had stains on it. Called the front desk and they brought a new and unfortunately that had what looked like a big pee stain on it. Good news they refunded my money with no problems

  • I have already stayed at this motel for a few times. In my opinion, it is the best decision if you are going to have inexpensive rest. I was very pleased. Clean room, clean bed sheets, coffee maker, iron and hairdryer. The staff is friendly and continental breakfast is great. The parklot in the motel is not big. Sometimes I used external parking. This motel is really in downtown. From the motel to the Lakewalk may be 15 minutes by walk across safe and ancient downtown. There are many interesting places. Thank you!

  • I was very much ready for a compromise but this place was very affordable compared to the other hotels in this location and we just needed a bed for the night so we booked it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the staff was very amiable and helpful, the room was very clean (check out the pictures of how clean the bed is) and it is a pragmatic walk to the canal park and aerial lift bridge ( big plus for us). All in all I am quite impressed and would recommend this to anyone looking for an economical option in close proximity to some good sights. Our room was a double bed but the other bed was in use so I only took pictures of the one bed. Both beds were in the same, clean condition.

  • Staff was nice. I only spoke with someone when I checked in and out. No problems. My room was next to the ice machine, and probably the washer and dryer. Very hard to sleep with that. The pipes in the walls were also quite loud when someone is showering in a different room. The shower was very hot, and then very cold, over and over. Probably no recirculation line to keep temp consistent. Other than that, the room and sheets were clean. Probably a little overpriced.

  • First impressions are everything. As you take the stairs to go to the second floor I see dead roaches and a carpet that hasn't been vacuumed in day's. My bathroom floor was never swept because I see strands of hair all over, including the sink.
