The Glenwhan Gardens overlooking the Luce Bay, Isle Of Man and the Mull of Galloway is a newly made garden area hewn from the rugged moorland, part of which is now used as the moorland walk spanning 17 acres The Moorland Walk is blessed with the Georgian Water Supply as well as the dense vegetation complemented by 120 wildflowers, ferns and grasses. While walking along the tree laden trails you can explore the rare plants and trees, two Lochans and some sculptures. Glenwhan Gardens also has a tea room offering home-baked food and soup, a plant nursery and the Shepherd’s Hut and Bothy for staying overnight.
