This place is amazing!! They have a fish hatchery where the kids can feed the fish. They also have a wildlife museum with lots of educational material ...and games for kids. Inside they also have REAL animal pelts you can touch. All of this is run by volunteers. You have to stop by this place and help support them. The wildlife division is very important and learning about the things is essential ...and they need your help.
Small but interesting place and it's FREE! Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Great collection of native wildlife mounts and make sure to check out the fish runs and watch them at feeding time. Would be a good stop for kids.
We really enjoy stopping by to see the fish at our local Fish and Wildlife (& Hatchery) while on our daily walks.
An awesome place to take your family for some cheap/free entertainment. You can feed the fish and sometimes spot a few deer in the area.
Good, clean fun for everyone! Bountiful information and beautifully presented! Thank you Colordo Deparment of Fish & Wildlfe!
