Gateway Theatre Of Shopping - Review
They weren’t messing around when they designed this place. The idea was to blow people’s minds with the sheer number and range of entertainment options available to them. Twenty seven movie theatre, a stage theatre, the highest indoor climbing rock wall in the world, a massive skate park, a gym, Africa’s highest fountain, mini-golf, a science park, go karts, bungee… the list goes on and on and on. And that’s not even including the shopping options. There are over 400 stores to go through here. It’s supposed to be the single greatest shopping mall in the southern hemisphere. More than ninety restaurants for all budgets fill the air with drool-inducing scents. The mall sees over two million visitors annually.

Gateway Theatre Of Shopping, Durban Reviews
There's nothing quite like stopping at Gateway to make you feel at home. With being one of Durban largest malls it has just about everything you need. Great restaurants and food places, awesome stores to shop and ample parking for everyone. From spice shops, to pharmacies, to most retails stores, modern and eastern clothing and cinemas, you won't be bored here. Miss this place a lot and always make it a habit to stop by whenever I am in Durban. Extended hours would be great.
Good variety of stores and there is a new food court which is still under construction so seating is limited. Lovely overall but always hate the design of this mall as it's not a ring so you always have to pass everything again to get back to where you were. Parking is also expensive compared to other malls.
Great place to shop. Staff and management at Edgar's brilliant. So helpful. Will definitely go back to shop. Bought a full suit. Even steamed the shirt. 💯
Very clean in general, very clean bathrooms. However, there is definitely not enough signage to guide one to the correct store. General staff is unable to direct you in any way to a store. The Wimpy is beyond vile. Found a piece of dreadlock fried up amongst mushrooms. Can't begin to explain how nauseating that was. The only saving grace is the Toys R Us Store. Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Very well stocked, and I'm always able to get what I'm looking for.
Simply world class. I really enjoyed the evening vibe and the stores close later than most mall stores. Many food outlets to choose from and a nice mixture of ethnicities gives it a diverse atmosphere.
