Loyalsock State Forest Reviews & Ratings
I love this forest and trail. It's got something for everyone, but the trail difficulty and remoteness (RE: No cell service) keeps the Instagram Photo Hunters away. Very pristine land. If trash in the wild doesn't disgust you and make you enraged... Please choose a park nearby and leave the Loyalsock alone.
Love the great outdoors Beautiful place. Saw lots of wildlife. Bears were all around our camp .They trapped 2 within a 12 hours and a 400 pounder had a blast with the dumpster . GREAT Time.
Great place to swim. Picnic get away from it all. Great hiking trails. Loyalsock creek is clear. Fun creek to fly fish. Hard to score hook ups. But it's AWESOME
Beautiful State Forest. Very clean. Our campsite was near the road but it was still really quiet and relaxing. Would recommend visiting.
We bring a group of youth kids ranging in ages 12-19 some are very experienced swimmers and some are not we always have an amazing time. Be prepared to hike you will want sneakers not flip flops.
