McIntyre Wild Area is located in the Loyalsock State Forest and encompasses 7000 hectares of land. Big rocks, scenic beauty, boulders and cliffs, waterfalls await you to give you a fulfilling experience. There is a trail which will take you to the hidden pond which is a sight you generally see in movies. Crystal clear water surrounded by spruce is just wonderful and worth capturing the moment. While you walk, you will come across seasonal streams, huge cliffs, and some mining ruins as well. It is an exceptionally beautiful place to make you fall in love with nature.
