Dusseldorf is one of those places you can visit all the year through. Not having an ideal weather, the winters can get very cold and the summers are known to sport the occasional shower. That being said, the months of July and August see an influx of tourists from all over. The summer temperatures are cool due to the rain; carry an umbrella whenever you step out to avoid any surprise.
Summers: Summer months of July and August are the best time to visit Dusseldorf. Even though there is humidity, the weather remains pleasant due to frequent showers.
Spring: (Feb-March) is another good season to visit the city as the winter is retreating and the summer has not set in yet. The weather is quite mild and refreshing during this time.
Winters: ( October-January) is when the tourist population dwindles as even though rates are reasonable, a lot of the attractions close early. And if you’re not used to the European winter, it’s going to be a tough visit and this time is considered as off season in Dusseldorf.
Some of the carnivals take place in the months of July or November, so this is also a good time to visit this place.
