This stunning visitor centre is located amidst spectacular red stone spires and formations along Scenic Byway 12 in the heart of Red Canyon. The contrast of the red soil with the green pines has made this place one of the most photographed places in Utah. When you stand on the cliffs of Flaming Gorge you will see the breathtaking views of Red Canyon. There are free interpretive programs for kids and families at the visitor centre. From here you can take one of the several trails and check out the various viewpoints which are gorgeous. No wonder it is a great place to overlook the river.
