If you are a whiskey drinker, this locally owned distillery should be on your bucket list. The JK Williams family has done an excellent job by not only creating great products (their bourbon and rye whiskeys are fantastic) but also designing a very interesting and entertaining distillery experience. They give you unique insight into what it takes to distil a fine whiskey. After you are done with the tour, you get to sample all of their products which is a wonderful experience. By the end you might be taking back 3-4 bottles back home. Consider including this place in your itinerary when you visit central Illinois.
