Westhampton Dwarf Pine Plains Preserve


The Westhampton Dwarf Pine Plains Preserve is spread over an area of 788-acres. It is covered by globally rare dwarf pine barrens habitat. The area is open for trekking, wildlife viewing, hiking and trapping. You can spot wildlife like white-tailed deer, opossum, eastern cottontail, osprey, pine warbler, bald eagle, turkey and red-tailed hawk. The preserve also has a lot of hiking trails.
