Edinburgh Dungeon - Review
Horror and humour have always gone well together, and the Edinburgh Dungeon exploits that to it’s fullest. Gallows, cannibals, mirror rooms… this is a horror house that wants you experice the chills without getting bogged down in a B-Grade plot. The actors are all terrific, and portray villains out of Scotland’s history. For a short experience, it packs quite the punch. We won’t spoil what awaits you here, but it is totally worth it. Make sure you come as a group though, this is not something you want to ejoy alone. The shop offers some neat souvenirs.

Edinburgh Dungeon, Edinburgh Reviews
Good bit of fun to kill a few hours. Would definitely recommend booking online to get the reduced price. The staff acting was really good and created a scary atmosphere at times; however, some points were anti climactic. Good involvement of those on the tour. It did make us jump a few times and was good to gain a bit of history knowledge at the same time!
If you love history, shows and horror then this is the perfect place to visit. The actors are funny and they really are in the character. It is not just walking and listening kind of show but it is like involving the visitors while telling the stories in a really nice way. The decoration is awesome and the shop at the end is lovely. I really recommend visiting this place and it worth every penny
Very atmospheric and entertaining. The tour took about 2 hours and the group size was just right. The actors were awesome and made it a memorable experience. Also learned a lot about the dark history of Edinburgh. We had 3 families with kids (younger than 12/13 I guess) on the group. Two of them had to leave in the middle of the tour because it was too scary for the kids. So maybe not suitable for younger children. Aside of that it’s worth every penny!
Excellent show, enthusiastic actors, entertaining and informative! If you are pregnant or have health conditions they do warn you before you go in and before the relevant sections. You can still enjoy the experience overall and just miss the bits that might be too much for you/your health without feeling judged.
The Edinburgh Dungeons is thrilling but fun experience for the whole family with great special effects and amazing actors. To ride the "Drop Dead" ride you will have to be at least 1.4 metres in height. Ticket cost- Adult-£18 Child-£14 (To receive a discount use Young Scot Card) These are walk up prices if you book online it is cheaper. These are reasonable prices for the quality of the experience. If you are using a Merlin annual pass this attraction is included. Visited on -17th August 2018
