Very nice pub on grass market, good food and excellent beer. I don't understand why it seems to have a somewhat lower rating than other pubs on the same square, which we tested and were not as good as this one. Strongly recommended if you look for a bite and beer right in old town.
I like this pub. Good food a decent pint. Service has been fine any time i have been there. Outdoor seating area quite small however its location is spot on right in the middle of the grass market
Just at the foot of the Castle in the heart of historic Edinburgh. Nice cozy room of beautiful wood. Easily packed but not to noisy. Good food and choice of beers served by a nice staff.
Nice pub, on a par with most in the same area. Expensive; driven by the tourist trade. Airy on a hot day with open aspects.
Nice place, bit expensive and one barmaid in particular is a bit of a b***h, however a decent place to start a pub crawl along the grassmarket
