  • Went in for drinks as part of a large group on a Friday night. Really enjoyed live music and cosy friendly atmosphere. Recommend.

  • The best place to drink whiskey! There is a huge variety of bottles and the staff can say the difference between every 2 whiskies by the smell! Very recommended for a whiskey lover.

  • Great Scottish pub. Very good food and great customer service. Definitely a place to go for a pint and a feed.

  • Went in for lunch and would not recommend it. We ordered a beef burger and a chicken breast burger. The beef one was dry and the chicken one was just a breast coated in unknown herbs and cooked to within an inch of its life. I would even hazard to say it may have been a reheat from the previous day. The chips which accompanied them were not particularly nice either.

  • Very nice pub on grass market, good food and excellent beer. I don't understand why it seems to have a somewhat lower rating than other pubs on the same square, which we tested and were not as good as this one. Strongly recommended if you look for a bite and beer right in old town.
