Glenfiddich Distillery, Dufftown Reviews
Tour was great (Spirit of Innovation). The tour guides are well educated, knowledgable and friendly. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they did not have take bottles for drivers. Great facility and great whiskey.
Incredible place. Loved the tour. Tried the Haggis at the restaurant and I must say, it was delicious. The sauce was very tasty and the dish was dressed up nicely.
I travelled over 300 miles to come to Scotland and as part of this trip I really wanted to come to the distillery. I checked the website and it said it was open at 0930 and it was quiet in the morning so I decided to go early to avoid the queues. When I arrived I was greeted by an apologetic lady who informed me that it was shut because of a private function and the website hadn’t been updated. I feel this is very poor customer service that no one could be bothered to go online and inform the public of their intentions, very disappointing.
Home to one of the most beautiful distillery in Scotland in my humble opinion. Also home to one of the most relaxed tour there is. Most distilleries don't allow any pictures during most of the tour, glenfiddich allowed us to take pictures almost everywhere. Our tour guide was very friendly, but she was kind of new, so she couldn't answer a lot of our questions, but it wasn't a big deal. At the end of the tour we were offered 3 different whiskies to sample. Overall, we had a great experience and we would love to go back again in the future!
I didn't do the tour but the service was informative, the decor and ambiance was first class and the tasting pannel was mind blowing.
