Inverewe Garden, Edinburgh Reviews
This is a quality tourist destination, and a must-see stop off point for anyone in the area, whether you are interested in horticulture or not. It is a truly beautiful locale, for a wonderfully expansive garden, that has the air of a theme park in the way it is organised into different 'lands', right down to the map provided. Aside from the beautiful plants, ponds, views and wildlife all perfectly integrating, there is at the beating heart of it all the fantastically beautiful and fantastically nostalgic old family house. Now converted into a semi-interactive museum and gallery, you can almost travel back in time and feel completely lost at home as a guest of the family who started it all and made it available for all to enjoy. A lovely little tea room, as well as a much larger restaurant, make for a fantastic day out.

Stunning garden on the shore of Loch Ewe, we spent a enjoyable couple of hours touring the garden walking around the numerous meandering paths. All of which were well sign posted. The weather deteriorated otherwise we would have stayed longer and taken the boat trip around the shore of the garden and out on the loch to look at the wildlife (departs twice a day at 11am and 2pm lasting 2 hours, £25 per person). Unexpected bonus was discovering English National trust members enter free of charge, not half price as I believed
Amazing gardens, although you need to spray on a load of Smidge before venturing out there in the summer. We had a lovely robin that seemed to follow us all the way around. I was able to get in here for free with my National Trust card which made the outing even better!
I have visited these gardens many times over the years and I am still delighted every time I go. So many beautiful and varied plants with lots of forest areas, a beautiful walled garden. Lots of paths and quiet corners to explore and savour
