  • **Rude** Been here before and there was no atmosphere what so ever. However thought I would give it another go so we Went here last week . We waited to be seated outside and no one was their so five minutes later we decided to just take a seat ... we sat for 10 minutes and nobody came over to serve us so I went inside to get us drinks. After I Bought the drinks I took them outside pass the bouncer and sat down at the table. At that point the bouncer said nothing !!! 5 minutes later a waiter came over and said ' you guys can't sit here unless you eat ' so we said no problem we will order a couple portions of chips , his reply was ' no it has to be off the main menu ' so I questioned where does it state that ? , his reply was ' oh it's the council that says ' . We asked to speak to the manger and then the owner came out to speak to us with the same bouncer that we passed next to him . We told him our situation but instead he stood integrating us by telling us to hurry up and drink!!!!!! This owner was the same ignorant non happy guy who served us the heavily priced drinks except he ' kindly ' took his winter hat off. He was unbelievably rude and made us feel very uncomfortable in front of everyone. Also the toilets were disgusting and down the sides of the fridge was black with dirt so I'm glad we didn't eat there in the end :). Pubs who operate like that are an embarrassment to the fringe and goodness knows what tourists may think.

  • Great service!! Very friendly staff and quick food. :)

  • Won't let us sit down as the table has 6 seats and there is only 2 of us, 3pm on a Thursday when the streets are half empty.

  • I found a very beautifull place and a nice staff! The pub is a tipical schottish pub and there are many different tipes of whiskey and beer!

  • Nice small pub with live music and an interesting history. Be sure to learn about its namesake.
