  • Very convenient location in the heart of Edinburgh: it is actually a student residence. Positive: reception is open 24/7 for any infos /need. Negative: rooms and beds are pretty clean but really tiny

  • Good basic cheap accommodation, good location, clean rooms. The sound proofing isn't great and floors are creaky, so it can be quite noisy, additionally neighbouring construction work started before 7am. There was no hot water or toilet roll on the first night of our stay. We requested a ground floor room when we booked months ago, but didn't get one. All that said, it's OK and you'll be hard pressed to find cheaper accommodation for the fringe.

  • great location but thats about it, extremely uncomfortable bed and kitchen had out of date items in it from weeks and weeks ago

  • Great acomadation for a weekend in walking distance to everywhere defo be back

  • Cheap, but good value
