The Mosque Kitchen, Edinburgh Reviews

  • Perfect rice! So fragrant and tasty. The dishes overall don't impress me and I have eaten all of them but they are good value for money (about £7 per dish). The restaurant should definitely try something new as they only serve the same 6-7 dishes for sooo long time now. The girls at the ice cream counter are very helpful and friendly. Big dining area, nice seating, good selection of desserts.

  • Visited Edinburgh just for once and trying to find halal food shop. I along with my family members had the dinner on the first day of visit. Really liked their food compared to the price. And came here on the second day and it was raining cats and dogs. They didn’t disappoint me. Liked the food. Enough space for eat in and the lady is fast to serve the food. Recommended for those who like Asian curry.

  • The food is definitely not bad. I like all lamb and chicken dishes I’ve tried so far. I wish there were a bit more variety sometimes, but it’s still decent. I am not a fan of single use plates and cutlery, I can’t imagine how much waste is produced 😅 Also, not a fan of their sweets/milkshakes. Food is cheap and good though, so I recommend it.

  • If i could rate this place lower than 1 I would.... At first glance of the full dinning dining room, the anticipation for amazing Indian food was high..... but once i had my first mouthfull I was quickly hit by the flavor of cheap curry powder. I payed £8 for an inedible plate of food.

  • A range of basic curries self service with plastic plates and forks. The place to go when you want a quick cheap meal. Absolutely ideal for between shows eating at the fringe. They also do ice cream now.
