The Potting Shed is a 1957 play by Graham Greene in three acts. The psychological drama centers on a secret held by the Callifer family for nearly thirty years. Good beer selection, in a warm, rustic setting. Food can be a bit pricey and the staff have been quite rude on occasion which spoilt the experience. Particularly remember a waitress getting angry after we hadn't decided on any food after 10min. She started taking the menu's, upon which I asked if we could keep one for when we were ready to order. She rudely said no, and walked off...
Absolutely terrible food and the service was about the same. The waitress avoided eye contact at all costs. The farm to fork connotation is ridiculous, the food is definitely shipped in, preparation packed, microwave friendly.
We liked having a few drinks here. The music was great and the cocktails were well made. It is kind of loud inside but that also gives it a cozy vibe. The staff was unsure of the drinks and also of the payment method so that made ordering kind of a pain. However we were not in a rush so it didn't bother us that much.
Service was not polite or very helpful. Wifi barely worked. Craft beer selection was ok or good but it wasn't available at one point.
Great atmosphere and food. Staff always happy to see you. Some really nice beers on offer.
