Live music😍...great atmosphere. And the history everywhere you look is all you every need. Would definitely be coming back
Old man's pub for tourists. The food is so comforting you want to bury your face in it and shout "Night, Mum!" The staff are friendly and efficient. Be nice to them, they work hard. It's old and in the centre of Edinburgh so expect a lot of foot traffic at weekends or special occasions. Lots of beer and whisky choices. Extra padding on the seats. TVs for news and sport. Once you're settled it's hard to leave.
Very nice cosy pub. staff really nice. Bit late for food but would definitely go back and recommend to everyone to try
Beautiful little find! Could have easily stayed all evening. Staff were Fab! Really friendly and a lovely atmosphere.
There was a lovely warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious. The room decor was a wee bit worn but what do you really expect for an old building. What matter was the bed was very comfy, there was an impressive power shower and an freshly prepared to order breakfast with excellent quality products for only £40 per night.
