Casa De Campo Reviews & Ratings
A wonderful part to hike, run, or bike ride for hours. I hiked to casa de Campo I was impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the park. I couldn't believe I was in the middle of Madrid. If you have the time, go get a street bike and take a tour. Or go pack a picnic basket and go for a leisurely walk, picnic, and nap in the park.
The place is huge. Animal enclosures are very well maintained. Lots of things for the kids to do and see. The food is the worst I have tasted in Spain. You see the local people take in there own food and you quickly find out why!
Good routes for cycling. Many are unsuitable for road bikes, though. Google Maps could do with adding a choice between bike types, as it kept telling me to turn onto rocky paths.
Nice place to have a good dinner near the lake. And yes you can park the car. And surprisingly not so crowded. Must be that everybody is on holiday. Worth repeating to do a nice dinner. During the day for lunch to hot in my opinion. Just my 2cents. Going there around 18:00 and make a long walk and than have a great dinner with friends & family. I recomend to visit it when you are in the Madrid area
Born and raised Madrid. I had the chance to train (running, mountain biking and road cycling) for 12 years in this amazing place. Best park ever!
