  • By far the best customer services ever. Jeremy was a great help at front desk during check in. Rooms were great. Pool and gym great plus. The breakfast is fantastic. Has a little of everything you would want. Location right next to airport and a few minutes from the beach fabulous

  • Stayed here on a Sunday night and made use of their free airport shuttle both ways, which was quite convenient. Shuttle service did take about 25 minutes from the hotel to the airport at 6:30 Monday morning (terminal 5) so plan accordingly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and have lots of pillows, front desk staff was cold and seemed confused by the two rooms reserved under one name. Maybe this is a problem with their reservation software. Breakfast is great, especially considering it's free. Yogurt, pastries, hot and cold beverages, hot dishes including waffles and eggs, and the room in which you eat is pretty spacious compared to similar properties. That room is their bar/lounge in the evening and we found it a pleasant place to sit and have a drink before heading to dinner. I would recommend the hotel figure out how to dim the lights in that room for a more pleasant evening experience. I would stay here again.

  • Top end for Hampton! Best lounge ever with a bar and bar food. Still serving the traditional waffles and eggs in the morning g as part of the value services. Great location to LAX, and nearby to many great El Segundo restaurants. You'll enjoy this hotel, I promise.

  • I am very pleased with this hotel. Rooms and facility new and clean. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Enjoyed the continental breakfast a great variety. Price was reasonable. A 10 minute drive from Manhattan beach. Very very pleased. I look forward to a future stay here again.

  • Long story of a terrible experience staying at this Hampton Inn, short version: The hotel knew, according to the front desk clerk, days in advance that there would be routine maintenance occurring at the hotel. Maintenance that would result in the hotel being without power for 5 hours. We never received a call or an email alerting us to this (we would have cancelled the reservation had we known). We were also not informed at check in of the power outage. It was only after being in the room for about an hour I found a piece of paper on the desk informing us of the situation. It was also noted we'd be provided glow sticks since there would be no working lights in the room. Glow sticks. I work overnights. The hours the power was out (1am-6pm), serve essentially as my morning/afternoon. We asked for a refund and were rebuffed. In this instance, I feel that this particular Hampton Inn put profits over people. The whole idea of the hotel industry is to provide guests a hospitalible experience- hence, the hospitality industry. I get the feeling they kept guests who were and had booked reservations for this night in the dark about the power outage because they knew most people would find the power being out for five hours less than accommodating and would therefore cancel their reservations. So, instead of going the ethical business route, they went the path of least information; knowing once guests had arrived at the hotel, checked in, and made it to their rooms they would be less inclined to attempt to get refunded and make a reservation at a different hotel. It's an area where rooms book fast and last minute bookings do not come cheap. A complete fiasco all the way around. Besides the shady practice of witholding information from us which would definitely affect out stay as well as not being willing to work with us on a refund due to the unacceptable circumstances are the main reasons why I will never stay at a Hampton Inn ever again.
