About Lighthouse Beach, Eleuthera

Known for its unspoiled soft pink sand beach, this beautiful Lighthouse beach is nestled at the south most corner of Eleuthera Island. Offering ample opportunity for hikers & snorkelers, this beach is an absolute paradise for beach lovers. Though it is faced towards windward side of the island, the sea is calm enough for beginners to try their first hand swimming experience.

The list of opportunities of this beach does not end here. The natural sheds created by the lined Casuarina trees, let you enjoy the sun without getting sun burnt. For more adventure, move on towards east-end side of the beach and you can see the Lighthouse Point. From this point, the blue color of the water looks more vivid with pink sand bordering the shoreline. Make sure you carry a camera to capture this magic of contrasting colors created by the Mother Nature.

  • Breathtaking! Awesome views from the cliff and caves. The water is great, very clear. It is a really good place to snorkel. There are lots of reefs. I recommend the "Eleuthera Tours" tour to this beach given by Donald Anderson. It's great!

  • Among my travels, which is a lot, this is still the best beach I've been. Visited in May 2010. The only thing is you have to drive through the wild to get there.

  • Here is the most beautiful beach ever!!!! No one was there. The sands is pink. But if you wanna go there, you have to walk over 40min. Cars can’t go through the way to there.

  • One of the most incredible beaches that you will ever find. It's a long rough road so make sure you vehicle has enough clearance but well worth the ride.

  • Absolutely amazing, the long drive and bad roads are worth the trip.
