Little Adam's Peak - Review
The Little Adam`s Peak, also known as ‘Punchi Sri Pada’ is situated at the height of 1141 meters and is one of the favourite spots for hiking among the travellers. The Little Adam’s peak got its name from the Adam’s peak, which is Sri Lanka’s holy mountain, due to the similarity of its shape. The path leading to the peak is marked and is easy to find. Once you set on the trail, you will pass through lush green tea plantations, paddy fields and as you move up, the landscape becomes more scenic. Once you reach the top, you will see a 360-degree panoramic view of the picturesque surroundings. The hike is fairly easy and can be undertaken by the entire family. You will meet a lot of follow hikers along the way. Do not forget to carry a bottle of water and a hat along with you.

Little Adam's Peak, Ella Reviews
It's a good place to have hiking. Try to visit all three peak points, the view of the main road and Ella town is amazing. The wind is bit of speedy time to time but can bear it. Don't forget to carry water and foods in your backpack.
This is a great hike - and definitely recommended over the big Adams peak. It is shorter and you get the same view except it’s from the opposite side. There were many other hikers here. I recommend catching the sun rise here. There are also friendly dogs that will hike up with you! If you have it in your heart perhaps you could bring some snacks for them :)
Beautiful, easy trail that doesn’t take more than 25 minutes to walk up even at a snail pace. The views are beautiful. The greenery is spectacular. Tea bushes are scattered around parts of the walk up to the top. This trail can be done by kids or mature people. Not too strenuous and little climbing required. Mainly just a path and stairs up.
My short itinerary did not allow me to check out the Adam's Peak.. but Little Adam's Peak was all that I could've asked for. Breathtaking and panoramic views. Short and easy climb though. There were a few more peaks from the first peak., Which can be skipped. Climb to the Following peaks we're little riskier than the first one. It takes close to 1.5 hours for the climb, sit there for a few hours and climb down. Half a day is gone. That's how you plan it. There are a few good restaurants just at the entrance where you can have your lunch after returning.
Absolutely loved this quick little hike up a mini mountainside to see some beautiful views of Ella. The hike is perhaps 45 minutes total if you include the path along the two small peaks. All you need are some sturdy shoes and your camera of choice. We sat and pet some mountain dogs and enjoyed chatting with a few of the locals who climbed that day. Overall a great experience!
