You can come to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial to witness how the country honours the firefighters who died while doing their duty. This memorial ground was established in the year 1981. You can see many plaques here with the names of the brave firefighters who died while saving others. Half-staff flags can also be spotted here that honour the firefighters who the country has lost. You can come to this place with your companions any day of a year. But you can aim to come here on the first Sunday of October as the date is fixed to commemorate the braves annually.

National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Reviews & Ratings
Beautiful memorial. The grounds are spectacular. The opportunities they provide fire fighters is incredible. What a special tribute to the fallen Firefighters.
An experience like I have never experienced before it was very tough getting through the ceremony but I was very honored and privaged to be on hollowed grounds. I miss my fallen brother so much. To those who are honoring a fallen brother or sister I am sorry for your loss
Wonderful site to visit if you are in the area I would definitely recommend taking a look.
