The Cueva Del Tortero or the Cave of the Torter is tucked in a ravine full of overgrown shrubs. While entering the cave, you will find traces of stone blocks and stalactites which had enlarged to such an extent to enclose the hall that was used to keep the cattle. You will need to pass the natural curtain created by columns, stalactites, and stalagmites to reach the rooms rich in various cave formations, probably created by lava flows. The accessible path through the cave spans 141 meters and it comprises of a lobby, labyrinth, chamber, main hall, Honda Room, Gonrg Room, and Honda Gallery. You will also come across a few limpid pools and streams while crawling, creeping, hanging, and walking through the curves of the Cueva Del Tortero.
