  • La Bufadora: Best described as a natural phenomenon, the La Bufadora is a series of rock formations that can be found along Ensenada’s peninsula. A sea spout of rocks if you will, the constant flow of the waves on the rocks has created such a formation that the water seems to seep through the rocks and make its exit like that reminiscent of a whale’s spout expelling the water inhaled. There’s a sweet local myth that’s attached to the La Bufadora so be sure to find it out!
  • Rivera Del Pacifico: The Rivera Del Pacificois more than just a building! Be prepared to spend more than a good couple of hours here since the premises not only holds one of the most frequented buildings by the rich folks during the Prohibition, but it’s also home to the museum of history and the cultural centre of Ensenada. You can enter the building and roam the gardens for free, but if you want to tour the museums, an entry fee is charged.

  • Is the canopy tour located near to the cruise port? Would it be something we could do while we are there for a day while on a cruise, or is it too far to travel to and from the ship?

    • You can do the canopy tour when you have a day in hand. You can check Las Cañadas Canopy Tour In Ensenada as one of the reviews mention how a family of 20 people on a cruise did this tour comfortably and had fun.

  • Are Spas included in things to do as part of an itinerary? I don't see any in Ensenada . . .

    • If you are visiting a wellness center in Ensenada for a spa, you may include it in your itinerary. But I don't think it is a very popular thing to do in Ensenada amongst tourists.
