The Sendero Cuevas Negras - Los Silos running through the Covas Negras or the Cuevas Negras Ravine is a moderate hiking trail spanning around twelve kilometers. With elevation changes of 900 meters, the trail takes about six hours at maximum to cover. Your hike starts from the left side of the Crucitas Street with the winding path leading to the ravine. After hiking along the ravine, you will find the derelict farmhouse that acts as a landmark to lead you towards Erjos. The village has a direct connection to both Los Silos and El Barbuzano – it is up to you which way you wish to go. Sendero Cuevas Negras - Los Silos looks magnificent during the months of November through May while the paths are laden with wildflowers like Bicacarera.
