Cathedral Basilica of Esquipulas is a Roman Catholic Church which was established in 1595. The building of the church was designed in Baroque architectural style. It derived its name from the picture of Black Christ of Esquipulas. It has four bell towers in its premises. The building of the church is surrounded by flower garden where you can sit and relax for some time. It has a long trail adjacent to the park where you can enjoy hiking. It has a minor basilica which is also beautifully decorated. A sanctuary is housed in the campus of the Cathedral Basilica of Esquipulas where you can enjoy the glimpses of many wild animals.
