Estes Park Memorial Observatory Reviews & Ratings
A treasure. Charming, knowledgeable host who has created something really marvelous in Estes Park. It was a real treat to sit in the dark under blankets in the big dome and listen and look. We got to see Jupiter and its moons before the clouds rolled in. A memorable evening well spent. I
Truly one of the best off the beaten path things you can do in Estes. The high elevation makes for amazing star gazing and the observatory just opens the sky up even more. The telescope is huge for its class and the guides are passionate and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. On top of all this, the observatory is there to get local kids into science so donations made for the star gazing service go to a great cause. Really great experience. Be prepared to be up late!
This was a unique find wonderful experience exploring the stars. Mike is very knowledgeable so much info and it's free
This is the second time we have visited the observatory. We scheduled a private visit to view the stars and it was a lot of fun. We learned quite a bit while we were there
Mike was amazing. Not only does he have a large knowledge of stars but he also shows you the passion he has for them. Great visit with my family
