Located just a few miles away from Estes Park, Kruger Rock is yet another hiking trail near the city. A two mile trek leads you to the elevation of about 900 feet and also offers some mesmerising view. This one is called a dry hike as there is no availability of water along. Hence, it is advisable to carry an ample quantity of water if you’re looking forward to trek here. Also needed is a camera so that you can capture some stunning moments in your lens. A hidden gem indeed, if the Rocky Mountain National Park is too crowded and you want to visit a place which is calm and quaint, head straightaway to Kruger Park.

Is this something someone with bad knees could do, or is it quite a hike?
Answer Report Abuse-
The Kruger Rock Trail is a 4-mile out and back trail with an elevation gain of over 970 feet. The level is mildly difficult but recommended for beginners. The trail is steep at places and there is a short rock scramble towards the top.
