Ivy Creek Foundation Reviews & Ratings
My wife and I had some time to kill so we went for a short hike here. Easy to follow trails. Well maintained. It was enjoyable!
Ivy Creek Foundation is a nature preserve. As such, it's not your typical park where you can bring your dog to run or you can bring your kids to splash in the water. Their emphasis is on education and preserving a green space as a habitat for insects, birds, animals and all types of fauna. That have great educational programs and it's a wonderful place for a quiet walk and reflection.
Came here during a weekend we went in various hikes was impressed by the beauty and close location. Also the various flora and fauna was interesting and enjoyable
The trails are nice, and well marked for the most part, but I have two questions. 1. How do they enforce their ban on jogging on the trails? 2. Why doesn't trail maintenance include removal of spider webs?
Beautiful quiet sanctuary in the city, took the short nature trail through the forest. It was nice. I just wish there could have been a longer trail.
