Armitage Park Campground Reviews & Ratings
I absolutely love camping here. It's super close to Eugene, however it feels like your many more miles away from the city. The McKenzie River is absolutely beautiful as it makes it's way past the park. I love the place so much, I've considered getting married here if and when I ever get married. The camp hosts are friendly as well, and the showers and bathrooms are clean and well taken care of.
Beautiful park. Full hookups and level. Nice laundry and bath facilities. Just lock up your bikes and put them away along with anything else. There are homeless people here. There are thieves here. Next door got their bikes stolen. Homeless do not bother me but thieves do. Not at all afraid here as almost all spots are taken with campers like us in our area. Can only stay 2 weeks max. Most homeless are in tents on the river. We stayed a week over Labor Day. No bugs at all. Lots of great walking here and pet friendly. Lots of shade.
This is one of our favorite places to stay when around the Eugene area. Coburg is a great little town next to it. The location is great, showers are some of the best we've seen in the country. Bugs can be annoying, but you're right by the river so that's to be expected. Sites are huge, well spaced, and easy to back into. The people are always nice. 2 week stay limit. Reserve online because it fills up quickly.
