The Pump House - Review
This is a fine dine restaurant overlooking the beautiful Chena River. It has been decorated with the relics of the Gold Rush era. Different dining rooms have been designed according to different themes. The restaurant serves amazing quality of Seattle made fresh Oysters along with various other options for seafood. It’s a connoisseur’s delight, especially when the relishing food is combined with the amazing quality and variety of wine. This is a great place to celebrate your family vacation.

The Pump House, Fairbanks Reviews
First off our server was comedic and professional. Such a likable guy! Second the food was amazing. The lamb chops (medium rare) were super tender and cooked perfectly. The asparagus was tender yet crunchy. The elk meatloaf was moist and flavorful. And the apple pie was to die for. The apples were crisp and not over cooked, the crust had superb flavor and the ice cream was on par! Will defiantly come back.
One of the favorite restaurants we visited in Fairbanks! I had their special menu which was Cajun shrimp. It was seasoned perfectly and the shrimps were very fresh. For main dish, I ordered Mac and cheese with lobster and my friend ordered pan fried noodle. These were more or less average food. The restaurant was very crowded. You could get seats at the counter to have drinks while waiting or to eat. The restaurant has a nice garden area where you can walk around. Very cute!
Excellent evening. Fast friendly service.Good beer, wine, scotch and whiskey menu. Amazing seafood chowder. Seafood pasta, blackened halibut and grilled halibut were top 5. Right on the river with plenty of room. Great atmosphere and a lot of original antiques from the gold rush days. Plenty of parking. Nice experience.
Only tried bar menu and Sunday brunch. Both experiences are excellent, exceptional, and well worth the price for both the food and service. The environment is a relaxing "at home" feeling. When you eat here, you are surrounded by Fairbanks' rich mining and river transport history. If you are visiting or even a local, the Pump House is a place you must visit.
A little pricey, but absolutely worth it. Beautiful venue right in the water with a strong nod to the history of the Fairbanks area. Service may have been a little slow, but we enjoyed the laid back and slow-paced atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy our meal and enjoy our time with each other. The staff was extremely accommodating, making sure that we got the most out of our experience and the most out of our meals.
