Arizona Snowbowl Reviews & Ratings
Really cool place to go skiing with the entire family I think I remember seeing people snowboarding here too. There are plenty of ski instructors here that are more than willing to help you because skin can be exceedingly dangerous so remember to use precautions when you come here. I also remember there being quite the quaint little ski lodge at the bottom. It has been many years since I’ve been here so let’s hope this review is up-to-date enough.
Snowbowl is a great place to come for winter skiing and fall leaves. During my time the aspens were changing and we're a beautiful gold! There are several fun activities to do for families and kids year-round. Peak leaf changing season is around the second week of October and the city website includes a leaf-o-meter to help you plan your trip.
The Aspen lollipop loop trail was great. The Aspen's yellow leaves right now are beautiful. The trail is easy to get to as its part of a Snowbowl run. You can make the hike around 1.5, 2.15, or probably 3 miles.
I go here every summer and fall. Free on birthday! Beautiful, serene. It helps to be ok with heights. Scary the first time but not after that. Even in the summer it can be very cool up there and breezy on the way down. Random weather all year, def check before making the trip. Awesome!
We did a hike there during the middle of October. We were there for the leaves change color. They are currently doing construction to widen the lower parking area. The weather was great and the people that we met were friendly.
