  • Water was excellent fishing was good. Kayaking was ok. It was a bit windy. Camp sites are not bad but recommend you reserve a spot as space is limited.

  • Such a relaxing lake to spend the day fishing and picnicking. We ALWAYS love to watch the wild horses run down to the lake for a drink or to play.

  • Camp hosts Mr. Dan and Miss Hattie are very hospitable and friendly. Best camp hosts ever! Fishing at Ashurst is great for trout. Get up early or fish before dark for less wind. Camping fees are $19 per day and $8 per extra vehicle. Clean bathrooms.

  • Great place to camp, fish and spend a weekend with the kids
