Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, Flagstaff Reviews
I'm not a huge fan of ledges, but this still was a really fun time. The staff is nice, knowledgeable and focused on safety, the harnesses they have are super awesome and ensure you stay clipped on to something safe whenever your feet are off the ground, and they have rescuers that can get you down from any point in the course without a fuss. Would highly recommend for people of almost all ages and sizes. It's fun, challenging and really shows you what you're capable of accomplishing.
Can't say enough good stuff about this place. The staff is friendly and encouraging. 2 people in our party had to be rescued and the staff was on it and helped them out. Special shout out to Rachel and Justin for all their help and guidance. We hope to see y'all next time do we can finish the black course for the second time! ;)
This was one of my favorite experiences ever! Both physically and mentally challenging but boat loads of fun. The different levels of courses allow people of all fitness levels to experience the course and be challenged by it. The staff members were amazing to work with. My husband and I both made it through all five courses. What a blast!
Took our Godson and his friend, ages 11 and 12. They did 4 of the 5 courses due to time restrictions on our part. Extreme is an appropriate word to describe this adventure. The boys loved it and didn't tire after 2.5 to 3 hours. I STRONGLY SUGGEST HIRING A GUIDE if this is your first time with such an experience or if there are children involved. We could not have helped the boys in all the ways Peter, our guide, did. In fact, I could not have done even the first course myself much less help the boys. My husband could have, but he would not have been able to help in the way Peter did. Peter had been a teacher. His skills at encouraging and helping the boys were excellent as he never had to actually physically help though he could have & would have. Instead Peter was able to give help and advice with words that enabled the boys to do every step by themselves. If the boys want to continue with this type of adventure, I would hire Peter to work with them as he would be able to help hone the boys' skills keeping them safe as well as making them more proficient.
Have been up to FE before and had a blast. Wanted to make a reservation to come up on Friday and bring a new adventurer so looked at the website and plenty of openings, Cool. Called to see if I could reserve a Guide for my group of 3 15 year olds. Nice young Lady answered and said she needed to check their scheduler, she took my contact info and said she’d get back to me. Two hours go by no answer? I call again same drill… They’ll get right back to me…Hour goes by. Call again.. Oh they’ll get right on it…Still no call back… A simple sorry we can’t support would have been fine I can understand that. But to just blow off a customer who’s trying to give you $200 plus doesn’t seem like good business. Must be nice to be making that much money. So we’re off to the Grand Canyon. Too bad, when you can get the Staff at Flagstaff Extreme to work with ya it’s a pretty awesome place. Update... They Found me a guide and finely called me back... I'll post again after our trip Tomorrow
