Flagstaff Nordic Centre provides for one of the most awesome campsites in the country. The place is amidst the woods with the most magnificent views and the sporadic rains. In the winters, this place is home to cross country skiing and dog  sledging. You can also rent yurts, which are very comfortable and well equipped with all the facilities. The Nordic Center provides plenty of wood for the wood stove in the yurts. The yurts are not exactly replete with modern amenities but provides for an adventure filled lodging. The cross country skiing is also wonderfully groomed here.

Flagstaff Nordic Center Reviews & Ratings

  • This is a hidden treasure. I have been to Flagtaff many many times and never knew this was here. You can rent a yurt in various sizes (the yurts come with sleeping pads but no beds), mini cabins (these do have bunk beds), and a room in the main cabin (it is a full on room above the welcome center. No private baths, though). You can choose a yurt at various distances depending on how far you want to hike or snowshoe. There is something for everyone!

  • Love the cabin/yurt. Ample parking, firepit, fireplace, grill, picnic table & STARS available! Community showers available(pretty much private) w/tokens. Forest scenery beautiful! Customer service excellent!

  • Great camp spot, they have propane grills, games, snacks and decent bathrooms. Definitely a good place to go...

  • I had to give at least 1 start cause it will de let me post. I was looking to book for the wedding venue so I was interested in finding out some information. I left a voicemail as well as called a few times and never received a call back. I believe the reason is because on the voicemail message that I left I asked about pricing. I felt it was extremely rude not to return my call at least as a complimentary and professional response. I would not recommend this place, they obviously don’t need the business and are careless. We also went to the place itself and nothing was established, absolutely unprofessional and irresponsible with their services. Is not worth to enjoy the beauty of Gods creation at that experience. Went to Thornager’s venue instead, they were amazing and have everything available that you can possibly need for your wedding.

  • Great facility. Been coming here the last few years and camping. Such a nice area.
