  • Used this hotel for our daughter's September 2017 wedding. Had a bit of a snafu during reservations process, but their team quickly tackled the issue, resolved it competently and quickly and our guests were treated to a wonderful stay. Team member AMANDA was simply INCREDIBLE - best customer service and just basic human kindness I have experienced in a VERY long time. :) Every comment I heard from guests was how cute, clean and unique this lodge is. And SO affordable! They loved having the bar/restaurant on site - that was a bonus we didn't realize when we booked. Perfect location for a wedding at the Nordic Village.

  • Very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Speaking of, i had the Chicken Pot Pie, and the crust is super light and fluffy. After eating that pie, i was stuffed. The next night i had the Chili, which they make from scratch. Some of the best i ever tasted. I read where people complain about the rooms being old especially the shower. That's true, however didn't bother me at all. This place is supposed to be rustic. If you want luxury then go to one of the hotels owned by The Casinos.. It's really great here for other reasons of which one is The SnowBowl road is literally right across the street. This will be where i stay every time i come to the Flagstaff area which will be often, as there is lots of outdoor activities. Take all there is to do and add a friendly staff and good food, and convenient access to outdoor activities, makes this motel a winner. Ron M.

  • Overall it is a very spectacular lodging cabins. The location I would say is the best quality. The service was great and very reliable. I don't have much to say about the rooms because I was just at an event but it's cabins so I'm assuming they're probably pretty nice. I definitely love the company I always go up there every once tomorrow for the ski lifts during the warmer weather.

  • Nice small cabins. No mini fridge for food. Clean rooms and awesome lodge restaurant!

  • Perhaps one of the better kept off the beaten path secrets of Flagstaff Arizona! This is a quaint no frills lodging that will give you a taste of local life up the hill from Flagstaff proper. Great Saturday breakfast and the lodge restaurant has a surprising depth of cusine and beers + daily specials. Do not come here if you are high maintenance people who expect a "cater and whim" atmosphere. Our room had no a/c and it was July and that was no problem. The room fan, mountain air and our altitude had the room cool for sleeping in no time. For those who seek a Thoreau like solitude and a place to contemplate...this is an excellent stay! It also is about an hour + (in good traffic) from the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Also it is right down the hill from the AZ snow bowl. Loved it and all the staff.
