W C Handy Museum is dedicated to telling the story of a famous composer and musician William Christopher Handy. Known as the Father of the Blues today, Handy was born in a wooden cabin in 1873. You will get to see several of his tunes on hand-written sheets of music-originals. The piano, personal papers, memorabilia, and different artifacts are a must-see for every music-lover. You will need around an hour to take the tour of the W. C. Handy Museum.
