Carabè, Florence Reviews - Write a Review
Actual Italian gelato served here, not just ice cream. Good selection of flavours. Gelato (sorbet) drinks also served here. Most staff speak english relatively well.
This is a great little gelateria, hidden despite being very near to the Galleria Dell'Accademia. The gelato was incredible, creamy and full of flavour, and very cheap!
There gelato was amazing. It was the best I've ever had and they had so many flavors.
Go with low service expectations. The gelato is very good but it would seem the popularity has made the service level quite low. My experience: I was one of very few people in line but still the hostess didn't really care about my order and even missed one of the flavours we asked for. When I asked her about it (when there was no one in line), she said she didn't remember my order (this was about a minute or two after I paid her) and didn't apologise. Maybe it was just a bad day for her, as the other reviews have been really good, but I won't be going back.
Fancy Gelato in varied and colourful flavours. Had the store owner's recommended flavours and loved them !
