The staffs are nice and friendly, and the food here is wonderful. I've tried the Florentine steak and pasta here, both taste great. The atmosphere is good, especially on monday there's music performance. It's not cheap but worth the price.
Great service. Don't miss Florentino.
We went on the strength of other reviews here. Glad we did. The food is stunning, delicious, plentiful and varied. On the advice of a review here I had the steak with shaved truffle and cheese sauce. Flawless. It's hard to get across his good and well prepared the food is. The boar is also excellent. The staff are helpful, relaxed and speak excellent English. A true hidden gem in Florence. Put simply; eat here. We did twice. Couldn't have been better.
I was welcomed in even as a single traveler, and the menu just looked great. It was hard to decide what to pick because everything sounded so great. I went with the bruschetta which was good but not outstanding, and the spaghetti alla carbonara which was absolutely fantastic! Lastly, I had the Tiramisu which was light and tasty. Actually, I returned a few days later because of the good experience and because I really wanted to try one more dish on their menu before leaving Florence and the Tuscany: stewed wild boar with grilled polenta and porcini mushrooms. It was great and I was happy to have come back for it. Lastly I had the affogato ai caffe which was good but after everything else I had here a bit underwhelming in comparison.
Great food, great staff, great ambiente
