We got there right when they opened on a Sunday and we were seated promptly with great service. By the time we left there was already a 45 minute wait for a table. The beer sampler placemats are very creative and make it easy to keep track of what you are trying. The food was very delicious but also a bit overpriced. The beer is definitely the reason to come here and there is a high likelihood that you have already tried one of their beers before if you live in California.
Good service, good food, Menu could be a lot more creative. I expected more. It left me wanting. Recommend a glass of Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale. Very tasty. I took a 4 pack to go! Also the Clam Chowder - very good, but I expect that from a coastal restaurant/bar.
Good beer but terrible service. They either need a better Manager to manage their waiters or chefs managing their orders. We waited for over half an hour until our meal was brought over and our waiter didn't apologize nor checked back with us at any time. We noticed other tables had the same issues.
Actually, the North Coast Brewery is directly across the street west of this location. The site shown on the map is the location of the North Coast Brewing Brew Pub/Restaurant. We ate there tonight. The calamari, the ceviche, and the clam chowder were all very good.
I went here during the rainy president's day weekend. The place is old fashioned, but has a restaurant side, bar side, and a small gift shop in the middle(images attached). We waited about 5 min for our table and were seated in the appropriate time. I had a beer flight to sample what they had and everything was delicious. We did have to wait a while for our food (~30-40 min) but once we got it, everything was delicious. The food was paired well with the beer and I enjoyed it thoroughly. If I find myself in the Fort Bragg area again, I would definitely stop in for a bite and a pint!
