Enjoy the fantastic views of the lock and the dam at Walter F. George. The dam is built over the Chattahoochee river and was completed in the year 1962. The dam is extremely useful to the natives as it produces a large amount of hydroelectricity that powers plenty of homes. The lock is supposed to be the second highest in the US. Although driving over the dam is not possible, you can reach the top and observe the working of the dam. From here, you can gaze at the wonderful views of the landscape. People often come here for fishing. There are clean restrooms available here for the visitors.
